ClassFactor started with a simple frustration: the students who work the hardest often remember the least. They re-read notes, highlight everything, and cram — the exact strategies learning science says don’t work.
The methods that do work — active recall and spaced repetition — are tedious to do by hand. Writing good questions is slow. Scheduling reviews at the right moment is a chore. So most people never stick with it.
