Refund policy
Last updated June 1, 2026
We want you to love ClassFactor. This policy explains our refund and cancellation terms — simple and fair.
Start free
Every ClassFactor account starts on the Free plan — no credit card required. We encourage you to explore the Services fully before upgrading, so you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Free trials
Paid plans (Pro and Medical) include a 7-day free trial. You won’t be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being billed. If you don’t cancel, your paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you’re charged for a paid plan and aren’t satisfied, contact us within 14 days of that first charge for a full refund — no questions asked.
The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription period only, not to subsequent renewals.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Outside the 14-day guarantee, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Annual plans
Annual plans are eligible for the same 14-day money-back guarantee from your first annual charge. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but they will not renew if you cancel before the next billing date.
Schools & invoiced accounts
Institutional and invoiced subscriptions are governed by the separate agreement or order form signed with your institution. If that agreement is silent on refunds, this policy applies. For institutional billing questions, contact billing@classfactor.com.
How to request a refund
Email billing@classfactor.com from the address on your account, or reach out through our Contact page, and tell us which charge you’d like refunded.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card provider.
Chargebacks
If something looks wrong with a charge, please contact us first — we’ll almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your account being suspended while we investigate.
